Bitbase Launches 26-Week Origin Points Program

Bitbase has launched its Bitbase points program with Origin, a 26-week campaign running from 4 November 2026 to 4 May 2027. The exchange will distribute one million points each week, and eligible new and existing users do not need to register to participate. Points are calculated daily based on trading, asset holdings, consistent activity and referrals. Referrers earn an additional 25% of the contribution value generated by users they directly invite, while invitees’ own contribution values remain unchanged. Eligible users’ previously earned Alpha points also count. From 9 November, participants will receive a shareable weekly trading-personality card. Bitbase says the program is designed to reward sustained participation rather than short bursts of trading. It follows the platform’s Bitbase 2.0 product and brand update. The Bitbase points program could boost user engagement, but the announcement does not confirm a token listing or suggest a direct price catalyst.
Neutral
The campaign may encourage trading, asset holding and referrals on Bitbase, potentially supporting activity on the platform in the short term. However, the announcement describes a loyalty program, not a confirmed token listing, buyback or other mechanism that would create direct demand for a cryptocurrency. The summaries also identify no clear price catalyst for ORIGIN or another token. Over the longer term, sustained user engagement could benefit the platform if it translates into lasting growth, but the program’s effect on token prices depends on details not provided, such as the points’ eventual utility and whether they can be converted into tokens. Traders may monitor participation and any later announcements, but absent those developments, the direct price and market-stability implications remain limited.
