Bitcoin Rebounds but Binance Turmoil and ETF Outflows Weigh

Bitcoin rebounded from support near $76,000 after market turbulence linked to a reported $6.3 billion Binance hot-wallet security breach. It was trading near $77,170 on Saturday, still about 39% below its October 2025 record of roughly $126,000. TRM Labs reported that attackers moved about 18,270 BTC, worth $1.47 billion, alongside funds on other blockchains. Binance said withdrawals resumed on November 1 as its investigation continued; earlier, it had indicated a phased restart would depend on security checks. Bitcoin now faces resistance around $78,000–$78,800, with $79,800 a further level traders are watching. A sustained move above resistance could bring $80,000 and then $82,000–$83,000 into focus. If the recovery fails, BTC could retest support below $75,000; a break under $76,000 had also put about $73,000 in view. US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $643 million in net outflows on October 30, ending four sessions of inflows. BlackRock’s IBIT and Fidelity’s FBTC accounted for roughly $233.7 million and $201 million in withdrawals, adding to pressure from liquidations and weaker risk appetite. Strategy holds 848,517 BTC, valued at about $66 billion, but its latest filing showed no purchases in the prior week, despite Michael Saylor hinting the company may have room to buy more. Traders are watching Bitcoin’s ability to reclaim resistance, ETF flows and further Binance updates for signals on near-term volatility.
Bearish
The near-term setup is bearish for Bitcoin because the security incident has added uncertainty and selling pressure, while sizable spot ETF outflows reversed a recent run of inflows. Liquidations and weaker risk appetite may amplify price moves. Bitcoin has rebounded from around $76,000, but it still needs to clear resistance near $78,000–$79,800 to strengthen the recovery. Failure to do so could renew tests of $75,000 and potentially lower support levels. Binance’s resumed withdrawals may ease immediate concerns, and sustained ETF inflows or a decisive Bitcoin breakout could improve sentiment. Over the longer term, the incident’s effect will depend on the investigation, confidence in exchange security and whether institutional demand returns; Strategy’s large holdings provide context but its lack of recent purchases offers no immediate buying signal.
