Bitget to List Aurelion Gold-Backed Stock Token rAURE

Aurelion (NASDAQ: AURE), crypto exchange Bitget and its tokenized-stock protocol Reality plan to launch rAURE, a tokenized version of Aurelion shares. Reality will issue rAURE, which is designed to be backed 1:1 by the underlying AURE shares held in custody. Bitget is set to become the token’s main trading venue, offering trading five days a week, 24 hours a day. Aurelion holds tokenized gold XAU₮ (Tether Gold) as its primary reserve asset. The launch would bring a gold-reserve company’s tokenized stock to Web3 markets and add another cross-asset product for traders. The announcement describes a planned launch and does not specify a release date or trading terms beyond the stated schedule.
Neutral
The announcement is a planned product launch rather than a change to a major cryptocurrency’s fundamentals, monetary policy or market liquidity. It may modestly raise interest in tokenized stocks and real-world assets (RWA), but no launch date, trading volume, liquidity commitments or user-access restrictions are specified. That leaves the immediate effect on broader crypto prices and market stability uncertain. Similar tokenized-equity launches have generally been more relevant to the specific platform and asset than to the overall crypto market; traders typically wait for actual listings, liquidity and adoption data before repricing. In the short term, rAURE could attract attention to Bitget and Reality, while any trading response may depend on execution and the token’s ability to track AURE shares. Over the longer term, successful issuance and sustained trading could support the RWA sector by demonstrating demand for on-chain access to traditional equities. However, custody, redemption arrangements, regulatory treatment and market depth will be important risks to monitor. The article provides no evidence that these factors have yet been resolved, so a neutral market assessment is most appropriate.
