Bitget Highlights Stablecoins, RWA and rToken at FutureMode Taipei
Bitget participated as a gold sponsor in FutureMode Taipei from 4 to 6 September 2026, using industry forums and product demonstrations to promote its expansion from a crypto exchange into a broader digital-finance ecosystem.
The event featured three discussions covering Asia’s stablecoin payment infrastructure, global virtual-asset regulation and VASP policies, real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation, and AI-native crypto products. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen joined a fireside chat on regulation and RWA, while Bitget Wallet Asia-Pacific head Will Wu discussed stablecoins in payments, remittances and digital-dollar applications.
Bitget made tokenised US equities, branded rToken, the centre of its on-site engagement. Activities included a rToken decibel challenge, a US-stock vending machine, blind-card promotions and prize draws linked to NVDA, MU and TSM-related products. Two liquidity stations also distributed 300 pastries and 500 drinks as part of the campaign.
The company additionally hosted a private dinner for VIP clients, institutional representatives and industry partners. Bitget said the programme was designed to connect product education with social-media content and longer-term brand exposure. The company previously reported that rToken assets under management had exceeded $100 million, with cumulative trading volume above $670 million. As the article is a Bitget-sponsored advertorial, the event and product claims should be viewed as promotional information rather than independent investment analysis.
Neutral
The expected market impact is neutral. Bitget’s FutureMode participation increases awareness of stablecoins, RWA tokenisation and tokenised US equities, but it does not announce a new protocol, major capital deployment, regulatory approval or material change to trading conditions. Such sponsorship and branding campaigns usually have limited direct influence on cryptocurrency prices.
In the short term, the event could generate modest attention for Bitget, rToken and RWA-related narratives. Increased discussion may support trading interest in tokenised-asset products and benefit sentiment around exchange adoption. However, the article provides no evidence of significant new inflows, user growth or institutional commitments, while the reported rToken AUM and volume figures are company-provided.
Over the longer term, clearer VASP rules, stablecoin payment adoption and RWA infrastructure could improve market legitimacy and expand the addressable user base. Conversely, regulatory uncertainty, liquidity constraints, product-structure risks and the difference between tokenised stocks and conventional securities remain important concerns. Similar exchange sponsorships and conference appearances have generally produced temporary visibility rather than sustained market-wide price moves. Traders should therefore treat the news as a branding and adoption signal, not a standalone bullish catalyst.
