BNB Chain Tokenized Stocks and ETFs Top $1 Billion
BNB Chain has become the first blockchain to surpass $1 billion in tokenized stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), with reported assets reaching about $1.1 billion. That represents roughly 30% of the global tokenized stocks and ETFs market, which expanded from around $719 million in January to approximately $3.35 billion in September.
BNB Chain also leads adoption, with about 1.8 million addresses holding tokenized stocks, or 45% of the total. Its products include Binance bStocks and securities offered through Ondo Global Markets. Ethereum held about $828 million, while Solana had approximately $738 million.
The milestone signals growing demand for real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation and blockchain-based access to equities. However, reports do not fully clarify whether the figures represent issued value or current market value, and provide limited detail on trading volumes, liquidity and user activity. Traders may view BNB Chain adoption as a positive signal for BNB, but should wait for stronger evidence before assuming a sustained price impact.
Bullish
The news is modestly bullish for BNB because it highlights rapid growth in BNB Chain adoption, tokenized equities and real-world asset infrastructure. In the short term, traders may treat the $1 billion milestone and BNB Chain’s leading market share as positive sentiment catalysts, potentially increasing attention and speculative demand for BNB. However, the announcement does not directly confirm higher BNB usage, fee revenue, network liquidity or token demand. Uncertainty over whether the figures reflect issued value or market value could also limit the reaction. In the longer term, sustained growth in tokenized stocks, institutional participation and transaction activity could support the BNB ecosystem and strengthen the investment case for BNB. Without confirmation through volumes, active users and on-chain flows, the price effect is more likely to be positive but limited than a major trend change.
