Bubblemaps Flags Four Crypto Influencers’ Meme Coin Trades
Blockchain analytics firm Bubblemaps says on-chain activity linked to four crypto influencers—Kimchi, Solstice, Anglio and 0xEthan—may have conflicted with their public meme coin promotions. Its findings rely on wallet analysis and estimates, which have not been independently confirmed.
Bubblemaps estimates that Kimchi-linked wallets made about $6 million on $TRUMP, below an online claim of roughly $40 million. Wallets linked to Solstice reportedly gained about $270,000 while a public wallet showed a loss of around $70,000; Bubblemaps also flagged coordinated buying by newly created wallets around promoted tokens. In its review of about 534 October posts, the firm says Anglio-linked wallets bought before roughly 61% of calls, by an average of about 20 seconds, and estimates gains of around $130,000. Bubblemaps says Anglio acknowledged using this approach. For 0xEthan, it reviewed 49 calls and alleged that three side wallets often bought alongside his public wallet and sold soon after, with proceeds and rewards estimated at about $125,000. An earlier analysis also said his linked wallets often sold within about three minutes of calls.
The allegations underscore the risks of following meme coin KOL promotions without checking wallet links, transaction timestamps and liquidity. Bubblemaps’ analysis may heighten scrutiny of influencer-led tokens, but it does not by itself establish misconduct or signal a broad market move.
Neutral
The allegations concern influencer-linked trading practices across several promoted meme coins, but the summaries do not identify a single token-wide catalyst or report a direct change to any token’s fundamentals. The immediate effect may be heightened volatility in tokens associated with the influencers as traders reassess promotions, liquidity and possible early-wallet activity. However, the estimates are attributed to Bubblemaps and are not independently confirmed, limiting their ability to establish a lasting price direction. Over the longer term, closer scrutiny could reduce confidence in influencer calls and increase demand for transparent, verifiable on-chain data. That may affect individual meme coins, but the information alone does not support a consistently bullish or bearish price outlook for a specific cryptocurrency.
