Centrifuge Tokenized Funds Launch on Circle Arc

Centrifuge has launched three tokenized funds on Circle’s Arc public blockchain: JTRSY, JAAA and HYB. The funds provide exposure to short-duration US Treasury bills, AAA-rated collateralised loan obligations and high-yield corporate bonds. JTRSY and JAAA are tokenized fund shares with direct claims on their underlying assets and in-kind redemption rights. HYB is New York Life Investment Management’s first tokenized fund. Janus Henderson and New York Life Investment Management are working with Centrifuge on the products. The Centrifuge tokenized funds expand Arc’s offering beyond cash management. Circle aims to use regulated, yield-bearing tokenized assets for stablecoin payments, capital-markets activity, onchain lending and composable collateral. Investors can subscribe with USDC, but access is restricted to eligible non-US professional investors. Minimum investments are $500,000 for JTRSY and JAAA, and 100,000 USDC for HYB. Circle launched Arc’s public mainnet on 16 September 2026. No fund assets, trading volumes or collateral-use data have been disclosed. For crypto traders, the main issue is whether these tokenized funds can build sufficient liquidity and become accepted collateral in decentralised finance. The launch is strategically important but is unlikely to create an immediate price catalyst for CFG or USDC.
Neutral
The launch is strategically positive for blockchain adoption, but its direct trading impact is currently limited. The funds have restricted investor eligibility, high minimum investments and no disclosed asset or volume data. That reduces the likelihood of an immediate increase in demand for CFG or USDC and provides no clear short-term price catalyst. In the longer term, deeper liquidity and integration with decentralised finance could support tokenised collateral markets and increase activity across the Centrifuge ecosystem. However, traders will need evidence of secondary-market liquidity, fund inflows, reliable redemption and broad collateral acceptance before repricing the related tokens. Similar tokenisation launches have often produced limited immediate price movement and rely on later adoption milestones. The appropriate market classification is therefore neutral.
