Dune Adds Real-Time Data Feeds for 200 Onchain Venues
Blockchain analytics firm Dune has launched real-time onchain market data feeds covering more than 200 trading venues across 12 networks, including Ethereum, Solana, Base and XLayer. The data, which includes prices, trade sizes and transaction details, is delivered about one second after execution and covers decentralised exchange spot markets and perpetual futures on Hyperliquid and Lighter.
Dune CEO Fredrik Haga said quant funds, market makers, asset managers and bank trading desks are already using the feeds to assess liquidity, compare prices and test strategies. The service aims to make fragmented onchain market data easier for traditional financial institutions to use. Dune’s real-time onchain data could support institutional participation if liquidity grows and regulation becomes clearer.
The launch comes as tokenized stocks expand but face concerns over fragmented liquidity and issuer objections. Sixteen companies, including Microsoft, Alphabet and Goldman Sachs, have objected to plans for a tokenized-stock platform proposed by OKX and Intercontinental Exchange. RWA.xyz puts the distributed value of tokenized stocks at $3.58 billion, up from about $627 million a year earlier.
Neutral
The launch is structurally positive for onchain markets, but its immediate effect on crypto prices is likely neutral. Real-time, standardized data can help institutions assess liquidity and execution across venues, potentially supporting deeper markets and more informed trading over time. However, the article does not report a large new capital commitment, a specific token purchase or a change in network activity that would provide a direct near-term price catalyst.
As with previous institutional data and market-infrastructure launches, the announcement may improve confidence and attract attention without producing a sustained market move on its own. Traders may watch for follow-up evidence such as client growth, rising onchain volumes, tighter spreads and improved liquidity. Tokenized stocks also face unresolved fragmentation, regulatory questions and issuer objections, which could limit adoption and contribute to price discrepancies or slippage across platforms. Those factors make the broader implications mixed: supportive for long-term market access, but not an unambiguous bullish signal for crypto assets or a near-term threat to market stability.
