Binance Delisting Puts EPIC and QUICK Under Pressure
Binance delisting plans have weighed on Epic Chain (EPIC) and QuickSwap (QUICK). After Binance announced the decision on October 14, the tokens recorded 24-hour losses; the later report put their declines at 15% and 22%, while earlier figures cited losses of 10.54% for EPIC and 19.67% for QUICK. Binance plans to remove both tokens from Copy Trading on October 21 and close their spot trading pairs at 03:00 UTC on October 28. It will also automatically settle affected futures contracts on October 20, with other services such as margin and loans restricted or discontinued on scheduled dates. Deposits will stop being credited after October 29, while withdrawals are scheduled to remain available until December 28. Binance said balances left after December 29 might be converted to stablecoins, but this is not guaranteed. The exchange did not give a specific reason for the Binance delisting; its review criteria can include liquidity, trading activity, development, security, regulatory compliance and team commitment. Separately, Ethereum network wallet maintenance on October 15 is expected to pause deposits and withdrawals for about an hour, with trading unaffected. Traders holding EPIC or QUICK should check Binance’s deadlines and withdrawal options, as the delisting may reduce liquidity and increase volatility.
Bearish
The delisting is a negative catalyst for EPIC and QUICK. In the short term, the reported price declines suggest selling pressure, while the loss of Binance spot, Copy Trading and related services may prompt holders to reduce positions or move tokens to other venues. As support winds down, thinner liquidity can widen spreads and amplify volatility, particularly around the October deadlines. Over the longer term, the effect will depend on whether the projects maintain development and attract trading activity and alternative exchange support. Binance did not disclose a specific reason for the decision, so the delisting alone does not establish a fundamental failure; however, reduced access to a major exchange can weigh on demand and market confidence. The Ethereum wallet maintenance is a brief operational pause and is not a direct price catalyst for EPIC or QUICK.
