Ethereum ETF Inflows End Five-Day Outflow Streak

US spot Ethereum ETFs recorded $14.955 million in net inflows on October 21, ending five consecutive days of withdrawals. The rebound followed $388.9 million in outflows over the previous five sessions, recovering about 3.8% of that amount. Grayscale’s Ethereum Mini Trust led with $28.0693 million in inflows, followed by Fidelity’s FETH at $13.0333 million, while BlackRock’s ETHA recorded $29.3239 million in outflows. Smaller inflows elsewhere kept the overall total positive. The return to net inflows may ease immediate selling pressure, but mixed results across issuers do not yet signal a broad recovery in Ethereum ETF demand. Ethereum ETFs held $15.358 billion in net assets, equal to 5.05% of Ethereum’s market capitalisation, while cumulative net inflows stood at $12.825 billion. Traders will be watching subsequent Ethereum ETF flow reports for evidence that demand is sustained. ETF flows reflect demand for investment products and do not, on their own, determine ETH’s price or indicate network activity.
Neutral
The net inflow is a modest short-term positive for ETH sentiment because it ends a five-session withdrawal streak and may ease immediate concerns about selling pressure from ETF investors. However, the $14.955 million inflow was small compared with the $388.9 million withdrawn over those five sessions, and major issuers posted opposing flows. This makes the signal too limited to establish a durable change in demand or price direction. In the short term, traders may treat the flow data as a sentiment indicator, but ETH’s price will also respond to broader market conditions, liquidity and other catalysts. Over the longer term, sustained inflows across multiple issuers could support demand and improve sentiment; one positive session alone is not evidence of that trend. ETF flows also do not directly measure Ethereum network activity, so the overall price impact is best assessed as neutral.
