Ethereum Spot ETFs Extend Outflows to Three Days

Ethereum spot ETFs saw $60.22 million in net outflows on 27 October, followed by a further $21.41 million outflow on 28 October, extending the outflow streak to three days. BlackRock’s ETHA recorded the largest daily outflow on both days, while Fidelity’s FETH and Grayscale’s Ethereum Mini Trust (ETH) attracted inflows. On 28 October, FETH added $18.78 million and the Mini Trust $3.62 million, against $44.83 million in outflows from ETHA. Total net assets rose from $14.18 billion to $14.27 billion, or 4.95% of Ethereum’s market capitalisation. Cumulative net inflows eased from $12.57 billion to $12.55 billion. The latest Ethereum ETF flows suggest near-term selling pressure, although the sizable accumulated inflows indicate that institutional exposure remains significant.
Bearish
Three consecutive days of net outflows from Ethereum spot ETFs point to near-term demand weakness and may weigh on ETH if traders interpret the flows as reduced institutional appetite. The pace of outflows slowed from $60.22 million on 27 October to $21.41 million on 28 October, and FETH and Grayscale’s Mini Trust continued to attract inflows, so the data is mixed rather than uniformly negative. Total ETF net assets also increased to $14.27 billion, while cumulative inflows remained above $12 billion. These figures suggest substantial institutional exposure persists, which may help cushion selling pressure over the longer term. ETF flows are only one market indicator, however, and ETH’s price response will also depend on broader market conditions and investor sentiment.
