Pando Solana ETF to Debut in Hong Kong on October 13
Pando Finance plans to list its spot Solana ETF (02831) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on October 13, making it the city’s second ETF to offer direct exposure to SOL. Subscriptions are scheduled for October 6–12, at an indicative price of HK$7.80–HK$8 per share. The minimum lot is 100 shares, or about HK$780–HK$800 before fees.
The Pando Solana ETF will charge a 0.6% annual management fee and has an estimated recurring expense ratio of 1.6%, below ChinaAMC’s corresponding rates of 0.99% and 1.99%. It will hold SOL directly, with HashKey Exchange handling transactions and HashKey Custody Services providing custody. The fund will not stake its holdings or use derivatives or leverage, may hold up to 3% of net assets in cash, and does not plan to pay dividends.
The listing adds a regulated channel for Hong Kong investors seeking Solana exposure, but does not guarantee new buying pressure for SOL. The ETF remains exposed to SOL’s price volatility, and investors could lose their entire investment.
Neutral
The Hong Kong listing gives investors another regulated way to access SOL and the ETF’s fees are lower than those of the existing ChinaAMC product. These factors may improve accessibility and support interest in Solana over time. However, the launch does not ensure ETF inflows or direct purchases of SOL at a scale that would move its price. In the short term, trading is likely to remain more influenced by broader crypto-market conditions and SOL’s volatility. Over the longer term, sustained investor demand could provide support, but the fund’s launch alone is not enough to establish a bullish trend; the possibility of substantial losses also remains.
