HYPE Spot ETFs See $7.88M Outflows After Earlier Losses

HYPE spot ETFs recorded $9.43 million in net outflows during the US trading week of October 5–9, according to SoSoValue. 21Shares’ THYP led withdrawals at $12.41 million, while Grayscale’s staked Hyperliquid ETF, HYPG, logged the largest weekly inflow at $1.95 million. At that point, the funds held $452 million in net assets and had $336 million in cumulative net inflows. The latest data showed further withdrawals: on October 22, US HYPE spot ETFs saw $7.88 million in net outflows. Bitwise’s BHYP accounted for $6.981 million and 21Shares’ THYP for $897,800. Despite the daily outflows, cumulative net inflows across the products remained positive at $304 million, while total net assets stood at $387 million. The contrasting snapshots indicate weaker recent demand and possible near-term pressure on HYPE, although cumulative inflows show that investor interest has not disappeared.
Bearish
The latest $7.88 million daily outflow, following $9.43 million in withdrawals during the October 5–9 trading week, points to softer demand for HYPE spot ETFs. The decline in reported net assets from $452 million to $387 million also suggests that the products’ asset base has weakened across the reported snapshots. In the short term, traders may interpret repeated outflows as a negative sentiment signal and as a potential source of selling pressure on HYPE, especially if withdrawals continue. However, ETF flows alone do not establish that HYPE’s price will fall, and the dates and product-level figures represent separate snapshots. Cumulative inflows remain positive at $304 million in the latest report, indicating that broader investor demand has not vanished. If flows stabilise or turn positive, that could temper the bearish signal; sustained outflows would reinforce it.
