Hyperliquid Revises Testnet Priorities, Adds cDeposit2
Hyperliquid has updated its testnet operation-priority rules following user feedback. The noop and scheduleCancel operations no longer affect the priority of other operations. Most other operations lower the priority of competing operations until they are completed, with cancel, cancelByCloid, order, modify, and batchModify also exempt. Hyperliquid has also added cDeposit2, an API operation similar to cDeposit that supports agent-signed requests. These changes apply to testnet functionality; no direct effect on HYPE trading or prices was reported.
Neutral
The changes are limited to Hyperliquid’s testnet operation handling and deposit API, with no announced changes to mainnet, token economics, or market conditions. In the short term, the priority-rule revisions and agent-signing support may improve testing and integration workflows, but they do not establish a clear catalyst for HYPE buying or selling. Over the longer term, smoother transaction handling and broader developer support could benefit the platform if adopted on mainnet, though that outcome is not confirmed. Traders are therefore more likely to treat this as a technical update than a price signal; broader market sentiment and HYPE-specific indicators remain more important to price action.
