JAAA Tokenized CLO Fund Offers 5.37% Yield
Janus Henderson’s JAAA tokenized AAA collateralized loan obligation (CLO) fund is offering a reported 5.37% yield, while RWA.xyz data puts its 30-day annualized yield at about 5.24%. The floating-rate credit fund has around $573 million to $652 million in assets and charges a 0.50% management fee. JAAA offers daily subscriptions and redemptions in stablecoins across more than eight blockchains through Centrifuge, but access is limited to non-US professional investors. Crypto ecosystem participants, including Sky, Grove and Ethena, have provided backing. DeFi integrations are expanding: Pendle launched deJAAA yield markets in October 2026, and Aave has adjusted collateral limits for JAAA products. The tokenized fund is much smaller than Janus Henderson’s similar JAAA ETF, which manages more than $30 billion. Its yield varies with interest rates and is not guaranteed.
Neutral
The news is neutral for the broader crypto market. JAAA’s 5.37% yield and daily stablecoin access may attract capital from idle onchain balances, while Pendle and Aave integrations add potential utility and liquidity. This could support growth in tokenized real-world assets and institutional DeFi over the longer term. Similar tokenized Treasury and credit products have generally been more relevant to onchain yield and adoption than to immediate movements in major crypto prices. In the short term, the fund’s restricted eligibility and modest size relative to traditional markets limit its direct market impact. The floating yield can also decline as interest rates fall, and AAA-rated CLO exposure is still credit risk rather than a guaranteed return. Traders may monitor fund inflows, stablecoin flows, DeFi collateral usage and rates, but the article provides no clear catalyst for a broad bullish or bearish move.
