Kimi K3.1 Pro Launch Adds Faster Version and Lower Hallucination Rate
Moonshot AI has launched Kimi K3.1 Pro, a large language model with a one-million-token context window and expanded coding, 3D development, financial research and AI-agent capabilities. A Highspeed version is designed to run two to three times faster. Kimi K3.1 Pro scored 65.7% on Terminal-Bench 4.0, just below Claude Opus 5.5 at 66.4% and ahead of GPT-6 Astra at 58.2%. It also scored 61.2% on Moonshot’s long-horizon coding benchmark, up from 55.95% for Kimi K3. In a company test, Kimi K3.1 Pro’s hallucination rate per statement fell to 8.3%, from 23.4% for K3. The models are available through Moonshot’s platforms and API, with full model weights planned for release by November 4. The launch adds to competition in AI but has no reported direct impact on cryptocurrency prices or trading.
Neutral
The news concerns an AI model, not a cryptocurrency or token, and neither summary identifies a direct link to crypto prices, trading activity or market stability. Short-term trading effects on any cryptocurrency are therefore likely to be negligible; broader AI-sector interest could influence sentiment but does not establish a clear price catalyst for a specific coin. Longer term, improved AI capabilities may contribute to wider technology adoption, but any effect on crypto would be indirect and uncertain. The market view is neutral.
