Meta has partnered with Oakley to launch the Oakley Meta HSTN AI sports glasses, targeting professional athletes and high-intensity workouts. Key features include a 12MP ultra-wide lens capable of recording 3K/30fps video—nearly three times the resolution of Ray-Ban Meta—plus open-ear speakers, five microphones, and IPX4 sweat resistance. The glasses deliver up to eight hours of continuous use (19 hours standby) with a 20-minute fast charge to 50%, and an additional 48 hours of power when paired with a charging case. Built-in Meta AI voice assistant allows hands-free commands for weather checks, video capture, and social sharing. The Oakley Meta HSTN starts at $399, with a limited edition at $499, available for preorder July 11 in the US, Canada, UK, EU, Australia, and Scandinavia, and later expanding to Mexico, India, and the UAE.
