MEW v7.7.0 Adds Design-System Upgrades and Wallet Fixes

MEW has released version 7.7.0, featuring a broad refresh of its design library and several wallet and trading-interface updates. The release adds reusable components such as inputs, icons, buttons, tabs, checkboxes, sliders and tooltips, alongside new typography, color, sizing and spacing foundations. MEW v7.7.0 also includes usability and reliability fixes. These address a swap fee-selector crash when no gas quote is available, improve perps sign-in navigation, and update the watchlist flow with a redesigned add-to-watchlist modal. Other changes include currency-aware quick buttons with minimum and maximum limits and a fix to the rewards modal terms link.

This is a product and interface release, not a protocol change, token announcement or market-moving partnership. The improvements to MEW’s design library, swap flow, perps navigation and watchlist may make the platform easier to use and more reliable, but the release provides no evidence of a direct effect on cryptocurrency prices, liquidity or market stability. Similar wallet and app updates have generally mattered more to product adoption over time than to immediate trading sentiment. In the short term, traders are unlikely to change positions based on these release notes alone. Over the longer term, better usability and fewer interface errors could support user retention and activity on MEW, although any effect would depend on adoption and would not establish a clear directional signal for the broader crypto market.
