PayPal and OpenAI will launch a ChatGPT PayPal integration in 2026 that embeds a full PayPal wallet within the AI chatbot. Users can browse, buy and pay for products directly in ChatGPT conversations, with PayPal handling payment verification, routing and buyer protection.
