Solana RWA Holders Surge to 1.73 Million

Solana’s tokenized real-world asset (RWA) holder count rose by 140,000 in one week to 1.73 million. Tokenized stocks drove most of the growth, accounting for nearly 90% of new holders. Solana’s distributed RWA value reached an estimated $4.37 billion to $4.86 billion in October 2026, up from about $1.08 billion a year earlier. The network has also become a major venue for tokenized equity trading, capturing more than 95% of on-chain volume. Cumulative tokenized stock trading volume on Solana exceeded $10 billion by June 2026, with monthly volume reaching $3.47 billion that month. Solana still trails Ethereum in total RWA value. The figures point to growing retail participation and trading activity, but holder counts do not show the size of positions. RWA value is also concentrated in a small number of products, including BlackRock’s BUIDL fund, valued at about $872 million on Solana. Traders will be watching whether holder growth continues and whether Solana narrows the asset-value gap with Ethereum.
Neutral
The figures are positive for Solana’s ecosystem: rapid growth in RWA holders and dominant on-chain tokenized-equity trading suggest increasing retail use of the network. Similar growth announcements around tokenization have often supported sentiment towards the relevant blockchain and its DeFi ecosystem, particularly when they are accompanied by higher trading volumes and new product launches. However, this report does not establish that the growth directly creates sustained demand for SOL or that it will move SOL’s price. Holder counts treat small and large positions alike, and the reported RWA value is concentrated in a limited number of products. Solana also remains behind Ethereum in total RWA value. In the short term, traders may respond to the adoption figures, but broader market conditions, SOL trading volume and price action are likely to remain stronger drivers. Over the longer term, continued growth in active users, assets and trading volume could strengthen Solana’s position in tokenization; a slowdown or concentration-related disruption would weaken that case. On balance, the news is ecosystem-positive but not enough on its own to justify a bullish or bearish market classification.
