Solana RWA Market Hits $4.3B as Ethereum Gap Narrows

Solana’s real-world asset (RWA) market climbed from about $700 million to $4.3 billion in 12 months, a roughly 514% increase, according to Castle Labs. The broader figures include tokenized securities, credit and yield-bearing assets. Ethereum’s tokenized RWA market grew from $15.5 billion to $16.6 billion, leaving it nearly four times larger, while Solana’s market share relative to Ethereum rose from 4.5% to about 26%. Tokenized stocks on Solana increased from $63 million to $455 million, and more than $65 million in tokenized equities was reportedly used to earn yield. xStocks products can serve as collateral on lending platforms such as Kamino and Jupiter Lend. Other offerings include OnRe’s ONyc, Hastra’s PRIME and AUTO, and Maple Finance’s syrupUSDC. Castle Labs says these assets could expand Solana DeFi lending, borrowing and capital deployment. Solana applications generated more than $193 million in revenue over the past 30 days, nearly twice Hyperliquid’s $86.5 million; consumer applications accounted for about 80% of Solana app revenue. The RWA market’s rapid growth suggests increasing activity beyond crypto-native assets, but tokenized asset value does not automatically create demand for SOL. Continued progress depends on issuer participation, liquidity and application quality.
Neutral
The news is constructive for Solana’s ecosystem but does not establish a direct or reliable source of demand for SOL, so the expected price impact is neutral. In the short term, the growth figures and rising tokenized-stock activity could improve sentiment and attract attention to Solana DeFi. Traders may still look for confirmation in SOL trading volume, liquidity, user activity and broader market conditions before treating the data as a price catalyst. Over the longer term, a larger RWA market and more collateral and yield options could support DeFi use and strengthen Solana’s network activity. However, the reported asset value is not equivalent to funds flowing into SOL, and Ethereum’s tokenized market remains substantially larger. Sustained issuer adoption, reliable liquidity and useful applications would be needed for the growth to translate into durable demand for SOL. As with similar adoption announcements, market enthusiasm may fade if on-chain activity or token demand does not follow.
