Strike Adds Bitcoin Stacks and 3.6% BTC Rewards

Strike has launched Stacks, a Bitcoin savings feature for personal and business users. Customers can split Bitcoin holdings into up to five named buckets, each with its own fee-free recurring purchase plan. Transfers between Stacks and the main balance are free and unlimited, but users must move Bitcoin back to the main balance before withdrawing it outside Strike. The feature uses Strike’s custodial service, with the company saying assets are held in multisignature cold storage. Strike has also introduced a 3.6% return on US dollar balances, paid in Bitcoin. The offer’s eligibility and other terms were not specified. The new tools give users more ways to organize and accumulate Bitcoin, but their direct effect on BTC’s market price is likely limited.
Neutral
The launch may modestly support Bitcoin accumulation by making it easier for Strike customers to set savings goals and automate recurring purchases. The 3.6% return on US dollar balances, paid in Bitcoin, could also encourage some users to acquire BTC. However, the reports provide no user uptake, deposit or purchase volumes, and the feature is limited to Strike’s customers. It is therefore unlikely to create a significant near-term change in Bitcoin demand or trading activity. Over the longer term, recurring-buy tools may contribute to gradual retail accumulation, but the impact on BTC’s price and market stability will depend on adoption and remain small relative to broader drivers such as liquidity, macroeconomic conditions and institutional flows.
