Strive Adds 6,133 BTC, Boosting Holdings to 35,600
Strive’s latest Bitcoin purchase adds to a series of corporate treasury buys. For the week ending October 9, the company bought 3,311 BTC for about $280 million, lifting its holdings to 32,773 BTC and making it the fifth-largest Bitcoin holder among US-listed companies. The purchase was partly funded by $208 million from exercised warrants, and Strive said its Bitcoin holdings grew faster than its effective common shares, increasing Bitcoin exposure per share.
In a later update, Strive reported buying another 2,822 BTC for $235 million, bringing its holdings to about 35,600 BTC. It also said 13.7 million of 15.3 million remaining warrants had been exercised, raising $369 million. Traditional warrant exercises reached 94%, with a reported leverage ratio of 47%. The additional Bitcoin buying signals continued corporate demand, while warrant proceeds give Strive more funding capacity. The effect on BTC prices is likely limited relative to larger holders and will depend partly on whether the company continues accumulating.
Bullish
Strive’s purchases add to corporate demand for BTC and may support sentiment by signalling that a listed company is continuing to allocate capital to Bitcoin. The later purchase brings its holdings to about 35,600 BTC, while warrant exercises provided substantial funding for further accumulation. In the short term, traders may view the purchases as a positive demand signal, although the reported transactions alone are unlikely to drive a major BTC price move; their scale is limited relative to broader market trading and larger corporate holders. Over the longer term, continued treasury buying could contribute to demand if other companies follow suit. However, the impact depends on whether Strive keeps buying, and financing-related factors or a pause in purchases could temper the bullish signal. Overall, the news is modestly supportive for BTC rather than a decisive market catalyst.
