Strive Buys 2,000 BTC, Holdings Reach 29,462
Strive bought 2,000 BTC for $169 million last week, at an average price of $84,422 per Bitcoin, CEO Matt Cole said. The purchase raised Strive’s total Bitcoin holdings to 29,462 BTC. The company said 61.5% of the financing came from SATA, while warrants generated $56.7 million. Strive also reported key third-quarter 2026 metrics and KPIs in an 8-K filing. The Bitcoin accumulation reflects continued corporate treasury demand, but the immediate effect on BTC price and broader market liquidity is likely limited.
Neutral
The purchase is modest relative to Bitcoin’s overall market and is therefore unlikely to create a significant immediate price move. It may provide limited support for BTC sentiment by reinforcing the trend of corporate treasury accumulation, particularly if other companies announce similar purchases. In the short term, traders are more likely to focus on broader flows, macroeconomic conditions and Bitcoin liquidity. Over the longer term, repeated corporate buying could reduce available supply and strengthen demand, but this single transaction does not materially change the market outlook.
