TADA mini Car Service to Accept TON Payments Via Telegram in Southeast Asia Starting September
MVL announced that its ride-hailing service, TADA mini, will be launching on Telegram in September, allowing users in Southeast Asia to book rides without installing additional apps. Payments can be made using TON tokens, eliminating the need for separate banking card registrations. MVL CEO Woo Kyung Sik highlighted that the service aims to encourage car drivers to actively participate in shared mobility and earn rewards. Future plans include expanding the service to South Korea and maintaining a zero-commission policy for drivers, unlike competitors who charge up to 30%. MVL, initially operating in Singapore since 2018, serves over 2 million users in Southeast Asia. The MVL token, which can be used for ride payments and staking rewards, is currently valued at $0.003796 with a market cap of $95.79 million.
Bullish
The acceptance of TON as a payment option by a major ride-hailing service like TADA mini could increase the utility and demand of the token, leading to positive market sentiment. The company’s expansion plans and zero-commission policy could further position the service favorably against competitors, potentially driving more adoption and investment interest.
