Tails 7.15 Updates Tor and Hardware Support

Tails 7.15, the latest release of the privacy-focused operating system, updates Tor Browser to version 15.0.25 and the Tor client to 0.4.9.14. It also updates firmware packages to improve support for newer graphics and Wi-Fi hardware. Users can automatically upgrade from Tails 7.0 or later. A manual upgrade is recommended if automatic installation is unavailable or the system fails to start afterward. Installing Tails 7.15 on a new USB stick instead of upgrading will erase any Persistent Storage on the stick. The release is also available as USB and ISO images.
Neutral
The Tails 7.15 release is a software and hardware-compatibility update, not a cryptocurrency, blockchain, or token-market development. It does not announce changes to crypto regulation, exchange operations, network adoption, or digital-asset supply, so there is no clear basis for expecting a direct effect on prices, trading volume, or market stability. In the short term, the announcement is unlikely to move major crypto assets or alter market indicators such as funding rates and open interest. In the longer term, privacy tools such as Tails and Tor may be relevant to some crypto users, but this release only updates browser, client, and firmware components; it does not introduce a crypto feature or materially change the investment outlook. As with similar operating-system updates, any market response would likely be limited to users of the software rather than the broader crypto market. The appropriate classification is neutral.
