Tuttle Files for 2x Zcash and Asia Storage ETFs

Tuttle has filed applications for several niche leveraged ETFs, including funds designed to deliver twice the daily performance of Asian storage stocks and Zcash (ZEC). Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas disclosed the filings in a post on X. The applications do not mean the funds have been approved or launched. If approved, the Tuttle leveraged ETFs would give investors a higher-risk way to gain exposure to ZEC and Asian storage shares.

The filings are not, by themselves, a direct market catalyst: the funds have not been approved or launched, and the report provides no details on timing, expected assets or investor demand. The proposed 2x Zcash ETF could attract attention to ZEC and, if it eventually launches, offer traders leveraged exposure. However, leveraged products can amplify both gains and losses, and the filing alone does not establish meaningful new buying pressure. In past cases, ETF proposals have often prompted brief speculation, while sustained price effects have depended more on approval, launch, fund flows and broader market conditions. In the short term, traders may monitor ZEC for sentiment-driven volatility, but a lasting impact is uncertain. Longer term, an approved product could broaden access to ZEC exposure, though it would not by itself guarantee higher prices or greater market stability.
