Uniswap Pools launches on Robinhood Chain with auto-compounding LP fees
Uniswap Labs has launched **Pools**, a token launchpad for **Robinhood Chain**. The beta went live after a 24-hour countdown, though it started later than expected. Pools lets creators create, discover, and trade tokens in one place, targeting faster access to on-chain liquidity and trading.
Uniswap says Pools uses **permanently locked liquidity** and **auto-compounding** LP fees, plus built-in sniping protection. The launchpad applies the standard **0.25% Uniswap v4 LP fee**. Creators can take **0.05%** of the fee, while the remaining portion is reinvested to grow locked liquidity. Uniswap Labs charges **no additional launchpad fee**.
Pools supports two formats. **Crowd Launch** runs a **four-hour bidding** process with **TWAP-based pricing** to reduce bundling and bot-driven buys, and requires a minimum **$10,000 FDV**. **Instant Launch** lists tokens immediately via a **bonding curve**, allowing trading as soon as the token is created.
Uniswap also claims tokens launched through Pools are integrated across its trading ecosystem, including the Uniswap web app, wallet, launchpad listings, routing API, and partners such as **MetaMask**, **Ledger**, and major DEX aggregators—enabling immediate liquidity access.
Neutral
This is a product launch rather than a direct tokenomics or regulatory shock. Pools’ focus on permanently locked liquidity, auto-compounding LP fees, and sniping protection should improve launch quality and reduce some typical early-trading risks, which is modestly supportive for DeFi sentiment. However, it also increases token-issuance throughput on Robinhood Chain, which can boost speculative demand in the short term and raise the chance of short-lived volatility around newly listed tokens. Historically, major DEX launchpad upgrades often lead to bursts of attention and liquidity migration, but broader market impact is limited unless a new incentive token or clear supply/demand shock follows. Net effect: mostly neutral for overall market stability, with localized effects on launchpad/DeFi activity and short-term trading opportunities on Robinhood Chain.
