XRP Price Target: Dark Defender Sees $36

Crypto analyst Dark Defender has raised a potential XRP price target to about $36, based on Elliott Wave analysis and Fibonacci extensions. XRP was trading near $1.5374 when the analysis was published. The analyst said his earlier forecast for a Wave 1 peak near $3.3939 was broadly validated after XRP later reached a reported high of $3.6606. XRP then fell more than 70%, briefly approaching $1, which Dark Defender views as the completion of a prolonged Wave 2 correction. A break above a descending trendline and rising volume may indicate that a new advance has started. The analysis identifies interim and upper Fibonacci targets of $18.2275 at the 361.8% extension and $36.7676 at the 423.6% extension. However, XRP must first overcome resistance near $2.10. The XRP price target is highly speculative and depends on the Elliott Wave structure repeating. Traders should watch the $2.10 breakout, sustained volume, market liquidity and Bitcoin’s trend. Dark Defender also suggested XRP could gain greater Nasdaq recognition, but no confirmed announcement supported that claim.
Bullish
The news is bullish for XRP because the analyst identifies a possible end to the long correction, a break above a descending trendline and improving volume. The projected Fibonacci levels imply substantial upside, which could attract speculative buying and increase short-term volatility. However, the bullish impact is not confirmation of a sustained trend. XRP still faces resistance near $2.10, and the $18.2275 and $36.7676 targets rely on a subjective Elliott Wave interpretation. Failure to reclaim $2.10, weakening volume or a deterioration in Bitcoin and broader market liquidity could trigger profit-taking or renewed selling. In the short term, the report may support sentiment but also encourage leveraged and highly speculative trading. Over the longer term, XRP would need confirmed breakouts, sustained demand and favourable market conditions for the projected targets to become credible.
