XRP Price Rebounds to $1.30 as Selling Risks Grow
XRP price rose about 1.56% to $1.30 on October 25, but remained nearly 17% lower over the past month. The rebound has not yet reversed the broader downtrend, with the token trading in a reported 24-hour range of $1.26 to $1.31.
On-chain indicators point to possible selling pressure. Wallets holding 10 million to 100 million XRP fell from 351 to 339, while exchange-associated balances increased by about 47 million XRP, worth roughly $61 million at $1.30. These movements may signal potential supply for sale, but can also reflect custody or internal transfers.
Institutional flows were mixed: US spot XRP ETFs recorded no net flows on October 23, after $3.55 million in inflows the previous day. Technical indicators remained weak, with the RSI below 50 and the MACD negative. Traders are watching $1.26 as key support; a confirmed break could expose $1.11 and $0.98. Resistance is near $1.35 and $1.40. The XRP price outlook therefore remains vulnerable unless buyers reclaim resistance and sustain a recovery.
Bearish
The news leans bearish for XRP in the short term. The price remains substantially below its level a month ago, large-wallet counts have declined, and exchange-associated balances have risen. Traders often interpret rising exchange balances as a sign that more tokens could become available for sale. However, transfers alone do not confirm that selling has taken place, so the on-chain data is a risk signal rather than proof of distribution.
The technical picture adds to the pressure: the RSI is below its neutral 50 level, the MACD remains negative, and analysts identify $1.26 as an important support area. A confirmed break could prompt stop-loss selling and bring lower levels, including $1.11, into focus. In similar market episodes, exchange inflows and whale distribution have sometimes preceded sharper declines, though prices have also recovered when those transfers reflected custody changes rather than sales.
ETF demand offers little immediate support. A flat daily flow after a modest inflow suggests institutional buying has not yet strengthened enough to offset selling concerns. For the short term, traders may watch whether XRP holds $1.26 and reclaims resistance around $1.35–$1.40. A sustained break above resistance, supported by stronger ETF inflows and improving momentum, would weaken the bearish case.
Over the longer term, the reported growth in non-empty XRP Ledger wallets points to continued network participation, but it does not by itself establish stronger investment demand. Price stability will depend on whether demand absorbs potential exchange supply and whether broader crypto-market conditions improve. The bearish classification reflects current price and flow risks, not a definitive prediction.
