XRPL DIA Oracle Adds RLUSD and EUROP Price Feeds
The XRPL DIA Oracle now publishes on-ledger price quotes for Ripple’s RLUSD and euro-pegged EUROP, alongside XRP, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDC and USDT. The feeds use native XRPL PriceOracle objects under the XLS-47 standard. One recorded snapshot showed RLUSD at $1.0008, EUROP at $1.1192 and XRP at $1.2508; these are historical prices, not current quotes.
The XRPL DIA Oracle dashboard indicates that data freshness is uneven. One object was marked stale, with a newer observation recorded on November 2 at 20:02 UTC, while another was marked cold and last updated on February 24, 2025. Traders and developers using these feeds for valuations, trading or collateral checks should consider update times, as outdated prices may not reflect market conditions.
The feeds expand XRPL’s on-chain market-data options, including a euro price reference, but there is no confirmation that Ripple’s DriveWealth or C2FO partnerships use DIA data. XRPL’s proposed lending platform remains unapproved and its early design relies on off-chain underwriting rather than automatic on-chain liquidations. The addition is a potential infrastructure development, but feed reliability and adoption will determine its practical value.
Neutral
The announcement adds market-data infrastructure to XRPL but does not directly change the supply, demand or fundamentals of XRP or the other quoted assets. In the short term, the new feeds may prompt limited interest in XRPL’s utility, but the reported prices are historical and the dashboard flags freshness issues. These factors limit the likelihood of a sustained trading response and could make developers cautious about relying on the data for time-sensitive applications.
Over the longer term, reliable, frequently updated feeds could support tokenized assets and other financial applications on XRPL, potentially strengthening ecosystem activity. However, adoption is unconfirmed, the cited Ripple partnerships are not shown to use DIA feeds, and the proposed lending platform remains unapproved with an early design based on off-chain underwriting. Until feed reliability and real-world use are demonstrated, the news is best viewed as a modest infrastructure development rather than a clear bullish or bearish signal for XRP.
