ZAMA Rallies 15% as Traders Watch Channel Resistance
ZAMA gained more than 15% in 24 hours, with its weekly rise topping 11%, as traders anticipated The Rollup’s Q3 Shielded report discussion on 2 November. Daily trading volume exceeded $50 million, while exchange positioning was mixed across whale, smart-money and retail traders.
Network indicators also improved. Zama’s TVL, including staking, rose 38% to more than $306 million, of which $173 million was staked. Daily active addresses more than doubled from 210 to 433, and daily transactions climbed from 445 to 932. Holder count increased 9.2% to 6,300.
Despite the stronger activity, ZAMA remained within a descending channel on the four-hour chart. Resistance at $0.075–$0.076 is the key hurdle for a potential breakout. MACD momentum and cumulative volume delta turned positive, but neither confirms a trend reversal. A rejection could put support near $0.065 back in focus, followed by recent lows around $0.060 and channel support near $0.052.
Neutral
The news presents a mixed signal for ZAMA traders. The price rally, higher trading volume, rising TVL, and growth in active addresses and transactions point to stronger near-term interest and could support momentum around the scheduled report discussion. Positive MACD histogram bars and CVD also suggest buying pressure has improved.
However, exchange positioning is divided, and the price has not broken out of its descending channel. The $0.075–$0.076 resistance zone is therefore a key test: a sustained move above it could encourage momentum traders and open the way for further gains, while a rejection may prompt profit-taking and bring $0.065 support into view. Similar event-driven rallies in crypto can fade when the anticipated announcement passes unless activity and demand remain elevated. In the longer term, sustained network usage and staking growth would be more meaningful than the report event alone. Overall, the evidence supports neither a confirmed bullish reversal nor a clear bearish breakdown, so the expected market impact is neutral.
