ZEUS 13.2.2 Adds Security Fixes and iOS iCloud Warning

ZEUS has followed version 13.2.1 with ZEUS v13.2.2, a security and reliability update for its Bitcoin and Lightning wallet. The earlier release added BOLT 12 and Boltcard fixes, 24-word seed support for LDK Node, embedded LND v0.21.2-beta-zeus, stronger wallet protection, improved invoice handling and a move from the ZEUS swap server to Boltz. ZEUS v13.2.2 now upgrades embedded LND to v0.21.3-beta, improves Lightning swaps and LND receiving, strengthens Nostr Wallet Connect validation, adds Cashu P2PK improvements, detects seed-phrase typos and provides channel-migration exports for nodes that fail to start. It also includes further security fixes. The key warning affects iOS users running ZEUS on multiple devices with iCloud Keychain enabled. Older versions could store wallet data, including seed phrases and connection credentials, in the synced keychain. ZEUS says it found no evidence of exposure. The latest ZEUS v13.2.2 moves this data to device-local storage and deletes the synced copies. The first device opened after the update retains its local data and starts the cleanup. Other devices that have not yet opened ZEUS v13.2.2 could lose saved wallet configurations, although user funds are not affected. Multi-device iOS users should back up every embedded-wallet seed and export configurations before updating. Single-device users and Android users are not affected. For traders, the release improves Bitcoin and Lightning payment security and reliability, but is not a direct price catalyst.
Neutral
The update is primarily a wallet software and security development, not a change to Bitcoin’s supply, demand, regulation or network economics. As a result, its direct short-term effect on BTC price is likely to be neutral. The iCloud Keychain warning could create temporary concern among affected iOS users and cause some traders to delay upgrades, but it does not indicate lost funds or a confirmed breach. In the longer term, stronger self-custody controls, improved Lightning payment reliability, safer node recovery and better Nostr Wallet Connect validation could support confidence in Bitcoin payments and infrastructure. That may be modestly positive for adoption, but any price effect would likely be indirect and limited. Historical reactions to wallet updates and security patches are usually muted unless they involve a confirmed exploit, widespread outage or loss of funds. Traders should therefore treat ZEUS v13.2.2 as a product-risk and operational update rather than a BTC trading catalyst.
