HTX has listed PG/USDT and ABBV/USDT perpetual contracts, allowing traders to take long or short positions with leverage of 1x to 20x. The exchange is also running a new-token futures trading competition through 15:00 (UTC+8) on 29 October. Eligible participants who register, trade the featured contracts and meet the stated requirements can compete for a prize pool of 1 billion HTX tokens and 5,000 USDT in futures trial funds.
Bitcoin yield products in 2026 range from native staking to liquid staking, lending and automated DeFi strategies. Returns, custody arrangements and risks vary, so advertised yields are not directly comparable or guaranteed.
Stacks targets about 3% annualized BTC rewards through miner-funded Bitcoin staking. Direct participation requires pairing BTC with STX and committing funds under bonding conditions. Babylon and Core also support native BTC staking, but pay rewards in BABY and CORE, respectively; staking conditions can include slashing, token exposure or timelocks.
Liquid and managed products offer other routes. Stacking DAO’s stBTC targets about 2.6% net yield by channeling deposits into Stacks staking. Lombard’s LBTC targets 2.5% net yield through covered-call options. Hermetica’s hBTC uses credit, basis and staking-related strategies, while Zest’s leveraged staking vault targets 6%–8%. Zest lending markets showed a variable 1.33% supply APY in the article’s comparison.
These figures are indicative, not guaranteed. Borrowing costs, token prices, liquidity, withdrawal restrictions, custody, smart-contract vulnerabilities and liquidation can reduce returns or put principal at risk. Traders should compare net yields, reward assets and exit terms rather than headline APYs. Overall, the article is a guide to Bitcoin yield choices, not a report of a market-moving event.
Major US banks are restricting or blocking third-party AI agents from accessing customer accounts because they cannot reliably tell whether an agent is acting with the customer’s permission. Axios reported that Morgan Stanley is blocking such agents, while JPMorgan, Bank of America and Citi are restricting access. Customers often give agents their own login credentials, making an authorized agent difficult to distinguish from a fraudster using stolen details.
The article argues that this is an identity and authorization problem, not simply an AI safety problem. It proposes giving each AI agent a separate cryptographic identity and requiring a customer-signed, limited delegation before the agent can move money. The author points to Sigma Auth, which uses identities and attestations anchored on the BSV blockchain, as one proposed approach. The piece also notes that banks’ restrictions may protect low-cost deposits from automated transfers to higher-yield accounts, but this motive is presented as analysis rather than confirmed fact. For traders, the news highlights growing demand for secure AI-agent identity systems, while offering no direct catalyst for cryptocurrency prices.

Microsoft, Alphabet and Amazon report quarterly results on October 28–29, 2026, as investors assess whether cloud growth can justify heavy AI infrastructure spending. Big Tech earnings arrive alongside the Federal Reserve’s rate decision, creating a busy period for markets.
Microsoft is expected to report about $90.6 billion in revenue and earnings per share of $4.71–$4.73. Its Azure cloud growth forecast of 45% in constant currency is a key benchmark. Alphabet is forecast to post roughly $128 billion in revenue, while Amazon is expected to report about $202 billion.
The Fed is expected to hold its benchmark rate at 3.75%–4.00%. Traders will watch cloud growth, capital expenditure guidance and the Fed’s comments on future rates. The results and rate outlook could influence technology valuations and broader risk sentiment.

Greenlight Capital’s funds lost 3.3% in the third quarter of 2026, underperforming the S&P 500’s 2.3% gain. The hedge fund said its long positions fell 8.5%, while shorts gained 7.1%. Its largest long-book winner was tanker owner DHT Holdings, up 45%, while several housing, financial and gaming stocks declined sharply.
Greenlight Capital also questioned whether AI companies can earn returns that justify the sector’s enormous investment and lofty valuations. It argued that intense competition and open-source models could limit providers’ pricing power, leaving much of AI’s economic benefit with users rather than technology firms. The firm estimated current end-user AI revenue at less than $100 billion and said future demand may not support projected spending.
The fund’s macro positions lost 2% in the quarter, largely due to a bet on lower US interest rates. Its year-to-date return was -1.5%, compared with the S&P 500’s 12.7% gain.

Neutral Trade has announced the distribution plan for the TermMax private credit vault airdrop after delays to the TermMax token launch and renegotiation of yield terms. The airdrop will consist of TMX tokens valued using a $60 million fully diluted valuation (FDV), allocated to depositors according to balances recorded in a snapshot taken on September 25, 2025. TermMax plans to release 50% one month after launch, followed by four weekly distributions of 12.5% each. Distribution is due to begin this week. The schedule and token valuation are key details for depositors tracking the TermMax airdrop and potential TMX market supply.
OKX has launched earnings prediction events for a busy week of company reports, including results from Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Robinhood, SK Hynix, Strategy and SanDisk. The OKX earnings predictions cover whether each company’s results will beat expectations and whether its share price will rise or fall on the first full trading day after the report. Users can find the events and earnings analysis in the OKX App’s “Play U.S. Earnings Season” section. OKX says participants may share a prize pool worth a total of $250,000. The events offer traders a way to engage with earnings-season sentiment, but the announcement does not indicate a direct change to crypto prices or market conditions.
The Philippines’ Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has trained 53 participants through free, 20-day blockchain certification courses in Kalinga and Capiz. The program is part of SPARK, an initiative to build digital skills among provincial jobseekers, fresh graduates, out-of-school youth and returning overseas Filipino workers.
The blockchain certification combines 10 days of online lectures with 10 days of practical work, including market application and capstone projects. In Kalinga, 28 participants graduated; 17 medalists earned a combined ₱76,340.49 from remote freelance work during the practical phase. One project proposed a blockchain-based registry and royalty system to protect indigenous handicraft designs and pay artisans.
In Capiz, all 25 scholars completed the course. Five graduates received medals for projects related to decentralized finance and Web3 freelancing. The program reflects the DICT’s effort to extend digital training beyond Metro Manila and expand skills in blockchain and emerging digital industries.
An Ethereum Foundation-linked wallet reportedly sold 2,785 ETH through CoW Swap on 26 October, receiving about $6.42 million in USDS at an average price of approximately $2,304 per ETH. The orders were split into several batches over less than an hour, and some of the USDS was reportedly deposited into sUSDS. On-chain monitors identified the wallet as linked to the Ethereum Foundation, but the Foundation has not confirmed its ownership or the purpose of the sale. The wallet reportedly still held about 15,000 ETH after the transactions. The sale adds to speculation about Ethereum Foundation ETH sales, following reports of related wallets depositing 4,393 ETH to Kraken earlier in October. ETH was trading near $2,315 at the time of publication.
Crypto conferences KBW Seoul and TOKEN2049 Singapore signalled a shift in the industry rather than a collapse in activity. Attendance remained strong, but attention moved from exhibition floors and token launches to institutional meetings, revenue-generating products and market infrastructure.
In South Korea, banks and financial firms are pursuing exchange stakes, licences and payment channels. The unresolved question is who can issue a won stablecoin, while the central bank’s Project Hangang is testing an intermediary model between CBDCs and stablecoins. The country’s STO law is due to take effect in February 2027.
In Singapore, traditional finance leaders focused on custody, tokenisation, liquidity and settlement rails. The Monetary Authority of Singapore has proposed stablecoin rules requiring full reserve backing, asset segregation and regular audits. AI agents dominated conference discussions in both cities, but speakers acknowledged that meaningful on-chain transaction volumes remain limited; stablecoins are seen as a likely payment method as the technology develops.
Trading activity is shifting towards established platforms and products. Hyperliquid’s HIP-3 markets recorded about $6.65bn in cumulative volume in a year, while Kalshi and Polymarket together saw roughly $45.3bn in August volume. The article also points to growing interest in crypto businesses with measurable revenue, including AI products and trading apps, while warning about market concentration, regulatory gaps and reliance on self-reported earnings. Overall, crypto activity persists, but speculative narratives are giving way to institutional infrastructure and revenue-led projects.
The Nikkei 225 fell 0.80% to close at 62,189.65, while South Korea’s KOSPI dropped 1.45% to 5,469.59 on 26 October 2026. The declines in both Asian stock indexes may inform broader risk-sentiment monitoring, but the report provides no direct link to cryptocurrency markets.
Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix plan to begin mass production and shipments of 8-layer HBM4 memory for Nvidia around the second quarter of 2027, according to a ZDNet Korea report cited by Odaily. An industry source said the memory is expected to be used in Nvidia’s Rubin Ultra-based NVL rack-scale systems. While 12-layer HBM4 remains the main focus this year, the share of 8-layer HBM4 is expected to rise significantly from mid-2027. The planned HBM4 deliveries highlight continued demand for advanced memory in AI hardware, but the report does not indicate a direct change to cryptocurrency supply or trading conditions.
A Hyperliquid user says their wallet was flagged as high risk after a friend repaid a loan using funds from HTX, formerly Huobi. The user says they had never used HTX and did not know the exchange was subject to sanctions. Hyperliquid has not publicly explained the specific transaction or screening criteria behind the flag, and no automatic restriction mechanism has been confirmed.
The case echoes a June complaint from another trader, who said three wallets were restricted from Hyperliquid’s official interface after HTX-related transactions. The trader reported more than $210 million in trading volume, over $60,000 in trading fees and $50,000 in builder fees. They also said the restrictions prevented them from claiming Kinetiq Season 2 rewards, though the October complainant said they had claimed their rewards.
The reports follow UK sanctions against Huobi Global S.A. on May 26 over alleged financial links to Russia-related entities. HTX has disputed the sanctions’ application to its exchange operations. Other platforms have also reviewed or limited HTX-linked transfers. The complaints highlight the risks of third-party wallet screening: an indirect or unwanted transfer may trigger review, but platforms—not screening providers—decide whether to restrict access.
LND’s v0.21.5-beta.rc1 release candidate adds a cap to fee estimates received from external APIs, limiting extreme values before they reach fee-sensitive wallet operations. The ceiling is 10,000 satoshis per virtual byte; the API’s minimum-relay estimate is also bounded. The limit is a safeguard against faulty or compromised upstream data, not a recommended or typical Bitcoin transaction fee.
The pre-release also fixes a deadlock in LND’s native SQL connection pool. It requires no database migration and includes instructions for verifying release signatures and binaries. Those checks establish the authenticity of a download, but operators still need to test the candidate in their own environments before deployment. The changes address Bitcoin node and wallet reliability, with no direct change to Bitcoin’s protocol or market fundamentals.
BlackRock’s Q4 2026 fixed income outlook, attributed to Rick Rieder, Tom Parker and Pat Haskell, argues that higher yields have changed the bond-investing landscape. Investors need to assess the duration, credit and structural risks behind bonds offering similar yields, rather than focus on income alone. Higher starting yields can provide income and a cushion against volatility, potentially reducing reliance on precise interest-rate forecasts. BlackRock also points to diverging economic cycles and valuations as sources of relative-value opportunities across countries, sectors and issuers—opportunities that broad market exposure may miss. The excerpt does not provide specific forecasts, yield figures or cryptocurrency recommendations.

Binance will launch USDT-margined perpetual contracts for EIDO, EQT, STM and ABBV between 09:00 and 09:15 UTC on 26 October 2026, according to an official announcement. The Binance perpetual contracts will offer leverage of up to 20x and support Multi-Assets Mode. The announcement concerns new trading products and does not indicate a change in the direction of the wider crypto market.
Monero developer jpk68 is seeking 45 XMR to fund three months of full-time work on the network’s privacy features, wallet software and core code. The proposal had raised 31.04 XMR from 42 contributors by October 26, leaving 13.96 XMR to reach its target.
Planned work includes adding Tor Control protocol support to Monero’s daemon to automate onion-service setup, exploring I2P connections through remote nodes, improving the graphical wallet, reviewing code and fixing bugs. The request is listed through Monero’s Community Crowdfunding System (CCS), which funds development through donations rather than a dedicated foundation treasury. The proposal remains short of its goal.
A top-four Hyperliquid BTC long added 302.5 BTC after prices fell, following a $2.15 million margin top-up, according to on-chain analyst Ai Yi. The trader opened the 30x leveraged position on 23 October and now holds 795.02 BTC, worth about $63.65 million. With an entry price of $81,168.6, the position was showing an unrealized loss of about $878,000. The address also holds a long position of 4,717 ZEC, worth about $5.67 million, opened at $1,195.7. The Hyperliquid BTC long reflects one trader’s continued bullish positioning, but its leverage and unrealized loss also leave it exposed to further declines.

The crypto market update features major short positions, Ethereum transfers and project developments. Two accounts linked to Abraxas Capital hold more than $1.29 billion in short positions and have accumulated over $353 million in profit, according to the report. The size of the bets highlights how leveraged positioning could amplify price moves if the market turns against them.
The Ethereum Foundation sold 2,785 ETH through CoW Swap. Separately, an Ethereum ICO-era whale moved 5,000 ETH after 11 years of inactivity, with 1,500 ETH sent to a centralised exchange. Exchange inflows can raise expectations of selling, although they do not confirm that a sale has taken place. These Ethereum sales and transfers may therefore attract short-term trader attention.
Other updates include a report that 49 Bloom Trading user addresses lost about $954,000 in a suspected wallet-draining attack, and a statement from ai16z founder Shaw that reverse-engineering Pump.fun contracts requires byte-level accuracy rather than a simple copy. Bonk Guy said he was positioning for the next market cycle. Vitalik Buterin argued that AI restrictions should be based on use cases rather than users’ identities.
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) says cryptocurrency could become the native payment method for AI agents, which may need to make fast, frequent microtransactions that traditional bank accounts and credit cards cannot easily support. In an interview with Japan’s PIVOT, he said the number of AI agents could eventually reach hundreds or even millions per person, and that agent-driven transactions could be 1,000 to 1 million times faster. He expects adoption within about five years, with regulation and user uptake—not technology—as the main hurdles.
CZ also welcomed Japan’s proposed shift in crypto taxation from rates of up to about 55% to roughly 20%, saying it could help bring trading activity back to the country. He urged Japan to advance yen stablecoins and the tokenisation of assets such as stocks, bonds and property. Separately, he cited Binance’s early user reimbursements and service as factors that helped build trust, and said its Japan arm is now licensed. The interview presents a long-term case for AI and crypto adoption, rather than an immediate market catalyst.

Foundation warns that phishing emails impersonating CEO Zach Herbert are falsely claiming a supply-chain vulnerability in Passport hardware wallets. The messages target Founder’s Edition, Core and Prime users and direct them to a fake recall website that asks for 12-word recovery phrases. The Foundation Passport phishing campaign is not evidence of a confirmed hardware flaw or product recall, and no thefts or losses have been independently verified. Anyone who shared a recovery phrase should treat the wallet as compromised and move remaining funds to a new wallet with a fresh phrase; changing a PIN or updating firmware is not enough. The incident adds to recent phishing campaigns targeting hardware wallet users, but Foundation has not said how many people received the emails or whether any phrases were collected.

PancakeSwap has urged holders of CAKE on opBNB to bridge their tokens to BNB Chain before 00:00 UTC on November 23. LayerZero is ending offchain support for opBNB, which will discontinue the route used to move CAKE off the network. The advisory was issued on October 26.
The change affects CAKE held on opBNB, not all CAKE holders. PancakeSwap’s cross-chain bridge uses third-party providers and supports transfers between eligible networks. Holders who miss the deadline may have difficulty accessing or moving their opBNB-based CAKE through this route.
Separately, a PancakeSwap governance proposal would cut daily CAKE emissions from 22,500 to 7,000 tokens, a reduction of about 69%, and increase the share of trading fees allocated to liquidity providers to 88%. The proposal has not been adopted. Traders should monitor the November 23 bridge cutoff and the governance decision, as the latter could affect CAKE’s token supply and liquidity incentives.
INIT fell nearly 13% in 24 hours to 0.13978 USDT, according to OKX market data on 26 October 2026. The drop followed Upbit’s decision to place Initia (INIT) on its trading warning list. The notice may raise concerns among traders about trading risks and could add short-term selling pressure on INIT.
Bitget has distributed the ninth batch of rewards under its Tongxing Plan, bringing the programme’s cumulative reward pool to 8,499,468 USDT and the number of recipients to 6,651,305. The update follows the eighth batch, which distributed 7,657,537 USDT to date, with 5,946,778 recipients recorded at that stage. Users who claim rewards on the campaign page can enter an additional draw for an eighth-anniversary surprise blind box. The promotion runs until 26 October. The Bitget rewards campaign may boost user participation, but the figures do not indicate a direct effect on USDT prices or the wider crypto market.
A Bitcoin wallet bug in Electrum allowed malicious servers to replace pending payments with fake transactions. Users who tried to speed up those payments using Replace-by-Fee (RBF) could unknowingly sign a valid transaction sending their bitcoin to an attacker. Electrum confirmed at least one theft; the amount and the servers involved have not been disclosed.
The flaw affected how Electrum checked unconfirmed transactions supplied by external servers. Attackers could make a fraudulent payment appear pending, and in one reported case used a receiving address with the same last four characters as the intended address. Electrum released version 4.8.3 on Oct. 24, adding signature checks. Earlier versions may remain vulnerable when connected to malicious servers.
Users should upgrade Electrum and verify payment addresses and amounts before signing. The developers said users connected only to trusted servers, including their own, were not exposed. The Bitcoin wallet bug is a security risk for affected wallet users, rather than evidence of a flaw in Bitcoin’s network or consensus rules.
US forces in the Middle East are reportedly prepared to launch a potentially large operation against Iran within 96 hours of an order from President Donald Trump. The plans have not been publicly confirmed by the White House or the Pentagon, and no attack has been ordered. Officials familiar with the planning say a decision could come before the end of the year, but is considered more likely after the US midterm elections. Potential targets could extend beyond military assets to energy infrastructure and nuclear-related facilities. The reports have heightened attention to oil prices and risk appetite. Brent crude was about $109.60 on October 26, while Bitcoin traded near $79,900, down slightly over 24 hours. A major escalation could push oil higher and weigh on risk assets, including cryptocurrencies, although Bitcoin’s response may vary as traders reassess its role as a hedge. The reported plans remain unverified; traders are watching official US statements, military developments and oil-market data.
Reflect’s Create lets projects issue branded, yield-bearing tokens using approved collateral in a single transaction. Promoted by Solana on October 22, the product also allows issuers to decide how interest from the underlying assets is split between them and token holders.
The yield comes from the collateral, not from the branding or issuance process. Reflect says wrapped positions may carry additional risks from lending markets that receive the reserves. Basket tokens can also hold assets with correlated risks, while routing through Jupiter and Titan may ease minting and redemption without guaranteeing liquidity or a particular redemption value.
For traders, the key considerations remain the quality and liquidity of the collateral, the source and distribution of yield, and the issuer’s share. Reflect Create makes token issuance more accessible, but it does not remove the financial risks of the assets behind each token.
