Gate has launched Proof of Security (PoSEC), a framework designed to assess exchange security beyond proof of reserves by examining asset storage and coverage under extreme-risk scenarios. Gate says it is the first digital-asset exchange to introduce such a system.
In a snapshot taken on 4 November at 08:00 (UTC+8), Gate reported cold-storage coverage of 104.58%. Cold wallets held 88.26% of platform assets and hot wallets held 11.74%. The exchange says that, under its calculation method, cold storage alone could cover all user assets if hot-wallet assets were lost.
An independent third-party auditor is reviewing the figures, and Gate says it will publish the report after verification. PoSEC builds on Gate’s proof-of-reserves work, introduced in 2020, and existing safeguards such as hot-and-cold wallet separation, multisignature controls, multiparty computation (MPC) and risk monitoring. Until the audit is published, the reported PoSEC figures are not independently confirmed. The disclosure adds information about custody risk but does not eliminate exchange risk or signal a direct change in crypto prices.

Schroders has launched a tokenized feeder fund on Solana with real-world asset firm Centrifuge, giving investors blockchain-based exposure to the Schroder International Selection Fund Emerging Market Bond. Investors hold tokenized fund shares—not the underlying bonds directly—and their value tracks the fund’s disclosed net asset value. This is Schroders’ first product on Solana.
The strategy invests in emerging-market government and corporate debt, so returns can be affected by interest rates, credit quality, currencies and local economic conditions. It expands Solana tokenized assets beyond cash-like products such as Treasuries and money-market funds. Schroders manages more than $1 trillion and has over 50 years of emerging-market debt experience, with more than 40 specialists. Centrifuge says it has tokenized over $750 million in assets; estimates of Solana’s tokenized RWA market vary, with one cited figure exceeding $4 billion. RWA.xyz puts the broader tokenized RWA market at about $39 billion, including roughly $14 billion in Treasuries and money-market products.
The launch adds to Centrifuge’s cross-chain activity, following its work with Janus Henderson on an onchain Nasdaq-100 fund on Stellar. Investor eligibility, minimum investment, fees, offering size and DeFi integrations have not been disclosed. The Solana tokenized fund marks institutional expansion into more varied onchain fixed income, but its scale and accessibility remain unclear, and emerging-market debt carries risks distinct from short-term government securities.
Dogecoin (DOGE) recovered from an intraday low near $0.080 to about $0.084 on Tuesday, then traded near $0.077 on Thursday after extending its rebound for a second session. The latest price is above the four-hour 50-period EMA near $0.0762, but faces descending trendline resistance around $0.0786. A sustained break could bring $0.0806 into focus; slipping below the EMA may expose support near $0.0723 and $0.0677.
Demand signals remain weak. DOGE futures open interest fell to $1.06 billion on Thursday from $1.18 billion on Monday, and Dogecoin-focused ETFs have recorded no fresh inflows since October 14. An earlier report cited $399,460 in ETF net outflows on Monday. Falling open interest may reflect reduced leverage or short covering, rather than a clear return of buyers. Large wallets holding over 100 million DOGE controlled 69.74% of circulating supply, down from 70.02% on September 1; this change does not establish that tokens were sold.
Short-term indicators have improved, with the four-hour RSI near 58 and MACD marginally positive. However, DOGE remains below its 50-day and 200-day EMAs at $0.0876 and $0.0923, while the earlier daily RSI near 39 and negative MACD pointed to weak momentum. Traders are watching whether DOGE can clear $0.0786 and sustain demand; failure to do so would leave downside supports in focus.
Binance Wallet has confirmed that the five scheduled PREDICT airdrop dates and questionnaire deadlines remain unchanged: the token’s listing date and November 6, 13, 20 and 27. The newer update clarifies that if PREDICT lists after a scheduled date, that distribution and any earlier unpaid batches will be combined and paid in the first batch after listing. Users do not need to submit the questionnaire again, and eligibility will continue to depend on the original questionnaire deadlines. The change affects when PREDICT airdrop tokens are distributed, not who qualifies.
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin says crypto exchanges should prioritise survival over market-share competition for the next two years, as hacks increasingly target user interfaces and centralised systems rather than smart contracts. He warned that further security failures could lead regulators to demand more cautious operations and stronger accountability. The comments put crypto exchange security and custody practices in focus for traders.
Buterin also cited zero-knowledge proofs, AI and formal verification as technologies that could support Ethereum’s Lean Ethereum roadmap. He said Layer 2 networks should build distinct uses, including high-performance DeFi, privacy and enterprise applications, rather than simply replicating Ethereum’s scaling features. He also praised the growth of India’s developer ecosystem. The security warning highlights an industry-wide risk, while the roadmap comments point to continued development across Ethereum and its Layer 2 ecosystem.
ALEX is scheduled to be delisted from MEXC at about 14:00 UTC on November 7, 2026. Trading and deposits will stop, and Convert access will also end where available. MEXC says withdrawals are expected to remain open for 30 days after delisting, until around December 7, but users should check the exchange for updates rather than assume the window is guaranteed.
ALEX Lab Foundation says the move consolidates liquidity to support deeper markets and focus resources on the ALEX DEX and its on-chain buyback and burn programme. ALEX trading on Gate.io, the DEX, the token and its underlying contracts are not affected. The Foundation says there is no migration or replacement token and warns users about related scams.
The delisting removes one trading venue for ALEX and could reduce access to buyers and sellers on MEXC, potentially increasing slippage. It does not by itself establish a market-wide liquidity decline or predict ALEX’s price. MEXC users should cancel open orders and confirm the receiving wallet or exchange supports the exact token and network before withdrawing over Stacks. Check deposit status, fees and any required memo, and verify the transfer is credited; withdrawing does not guarantee another market is available.
A trader on Hyperliquid closed a $56.6 million leveraged long in WTI crude oil (CL), realizing a loss of $5.82 million, according to Onchain Lens. The trader still holds a $95.7 million leveraged long in Brent crude, with an unrealized loss of about $7.06 million. The remaining position’s liquidation price is $82.33, roughly 14.3% from the current price. The wallet’s cumulative Hyperliquid trading result has shifted from a $18,400 profit to a $13.79 million loss. The Hyperliquid oil trades highlight the risks of leveraged commodity positions, but the losses involve one address and do not, on their own, signal wider crypto-market stress.

Boundless will suspend its zero-knowledge proof service indefinitely from November 5, 2026, ending new proof requests and proof rewards. ZKC holders must claim outstanding proving rewards before that date. The Explorer interface is scheduled to close on November 30, while staking is expected to remain available through a separate interface.
Staking rewards will continue through the final period ending January 1, 2027. After rewards settle, the Foundation says it will stop issuing ZKC, fixing supply at the verified on-chain total. Starting January 2, eligible stakers will receive a pro-rata share of an initial pool worth about $1,000 in credits for open-weight AI models. Allocations are made every two days based on each user’s share of total ZKC staked; tokens do not need to be spent, moved or restaked. Credits are nontransferable, expire at the next allocation, and have no cash value.
The change gives ZKC a proposed AI-access utility as Boundless winds down proof services and rewards. However, the initial pool is small, and the credits’ value depends on demand and continued access to Boundless AI. Traders may weigh the end of proof-related activity against the move to fixed supply and the limited utility of the new credits.
XRP analyst Dark Defender expects the token to break above $2 this month, but the bullish forecast has not yet been confirmed by price action. The analyst’s Elliott Wave analysis views XRP’s rebound from below $1 to $1.68 as Wave 1, with a pullback to around $1.20–$1.25 potentially completing Wave 2. The projected path includes a Wave 3 target of $7.07, a Wave 4 pullback near $4.10 and a Wave 5 move above $10.11.
At about $1.31, XRP would need to rise roughly 53% to reach $2 and about 670% to hit $10.11. The token remains below its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, near $1.33 and $1.36, with resistance around $1.35 and then $1.44. RSI is neutral at 49, while a bullish MACD crossover may indicate easing selling pressure. XRP has fallen about 13% over the past month and recently traded sideways.
Support is near $1.25; a break below it could expose $0.99 and weaken the near-term bullish case. Traders will be watching for a daily close above resistance as confirmation of a possible trend shift. The Elliott Wave targets rely on technical analysis, including Fibonacci levels and RSI, and remain speculative until XRP clears these hurdles. Broader market conditions could also invalidate the forecast.

Amundi and CACEIS have launched the first tokenised share class of the AMUNDI FUNDS CASH EUR money market fund. Investors can use traditional distribution channels or subscribe to AMUNDI FUNDS CASH EUR - J28 EUR DLT (C), whose ownership is recorded using distributed ledger technology on the public Ethereum blockchain. The tokenised fund shares are intended to improve transparency and transaction traceability, adding a blockchain-based access option to an existing fund. The announcement provides no details on investment terms, capital raised or expected uptake, and does not indicate immediate trading activity in ETH. The launch points to continued institutional interest in blockchain-based fund administration, but its direct impact on crypto markets remains unclear.
Hong Kong plans a gold token representing a standard 400-ounce bullion bar for interbank trading and settlement. Financial Services and the Treasury Secretary Christopher Hui announced the plan at Hong Kong FinTech Week on November 2, 2026. The gold token is expected to use the city’s HAU gold price reference and build on the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s Project Ensemble.
Officials have not announced the token’s issuer, custodian, blockchain, launch date or redemption arrangements. The project is aimed at financial institutions, with no retail access confirmed. That sets it apart from retail gold tokens PAXG and XAUT, which each represent one ounce of gold.
The proposal is separate from a completed Project Ensemble transaction involving Zhaojin Mining, China Construction Bank (Asia), Bank of East Asia and Jetco. That transaction combined tokenized gold and bank deposits, using Ant Digital Technologies’ Anvita TaaS platform. The participants and technology have not been confirmed for the proposed gold token.
Separately, Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission is considering a tokenized gold ETF as a potential retail pilot. SFC executive Ng Ka-lee said the city has approved 17 tokenized retail products with US$1.3 billion in assets under management. The institutional gold token could support gold settlement and real-world asset tokenization, but its market significance will depend on implementation details. No direct price impact on major cryptocurrencies is established.
South Korea plans to seek a two-year delay to its digital asset tax, shifting its proposed start date from 1 January 2027 to 1 January 2029. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lee Hyeong-il announced the proposal at a Seoul briefing; its approval process was not detailed. The government also plans to establish a public-private task force to improve the tax framework and supporting infrastructure, while accelerating work on digital-asset legislation. Officials say information from the United States could help South Korea tax investors using US crypto exchanges after 2029. The proposed digital asset tax delay means no new levy is expected immediately, but the plan points to stronger cross-border reporting and tax compliance over the longer term.

Binance says a months-long cyberattack began in June with a malicious Homebrew download and escalated in September, when attackers posing as recruiters tricked an engineer into running a malware-infected coding assignment. The malware replaced a legitimate pyenv component and connected to an attacker-controlled server. In October, attackers reportedly used an internal AI tool to expand access to developers’ devices and obtain a deployment token. On 29 October, stolen credentials were used to deploy a container and reach Binance’s wallet-signing service, bypassing normal withdrawal controls. Binance reported about $6.34 billion in digital assets involved in the incident. The FBI attributed the attack to North Korea’s TraderTraitor activity cluster. Binance says it rebuilt affected systems, replaced compromised devices and revoked credentials and tokens; it is also working with law enforcement to trace and freeze assets and has commissioned an independent review. The incident highlights risks to Binance wallet security from social engineering and exposed developer credentials. Binance has not established a broader market impact, but the breach could weigh on confidence in the exchange and its token in the short term.

Jupiter remained the largest DEX aggregator by trading volume across blockchains for an eighth consecutive quarter in Q3 2026, routing about $57 billion in trades. Its volume was down 5% from Q2, while quarterly revenue rose 12% to $17 million and swap-fee revenue climbed 50% to $8.85 million. Monthly volume increased from $18.2 billion in July to $20 billion in September.
Jupiter’s share of Solana aggregator activity fell from 71% in Q2. One account put its Q3 share at 65%, while a later report cited 67% and described it as a quarterly record low; the reports therefore differ slightly on the exact figure. The earlier account said the share reached 59% in October, as rival DFlow set a record 23% share that month. DFlow recorded $15.4 billion in Q3 volume, while OKX reported $12.1 billion. DefiLlama data still ranked Jupiter first overall, with $13.514 billion in 30-day volume as of November 5. For traders, Jupiter’s overall lead and growing revenue are supportive platform signals, but its declining Solana share highlights rising competition and could affect future activity.
Binance recorded net outflows of 14.97 million XRP on November 2, as withdrawals of 15.32 million XRP exceeded deposits of 341,700 XRP. Its XRP reserves fell 5.2% over 30 days to 2.38 billion XRP, while active XRP Ledger accounts rose above 36,300, according to analyst Xaif Crypto.
The movements followed a reported October 29 security breach in which five Binance hot wallets transferred 233.46 million XRP to an attacker-controlled address. Binance temporarily suspended withdrawals and restored them in phases. The breach may have prompted users to move XRP into self-custody, so the outflows do not necessarily indicate investor accumulation.
Lower Binance XRP reserves may reduce the supply readily available for trading, while higher ledger activity points to increased network participation. However, active-account data does not reveal transaction value, and the outflows alone do not establish a bullish trend. Traders may monitor Binance XRP reserves and XRP Ledger activity as withdrawal services resume.
Bitcoin was trading near $80,000 when Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson forecast it could reach $250,000 within 24 months. He said AI agents may create new demand by using crypto to pay for online services and transfer value, while urging the industry to focus on practical applications such as AI and tokenised real-world assets. He also cited usability, privacy, identity and interoperability as barriers to broader adoption.
Near-term signals remain mixed. Santiment reported that Bitcoin had lost about 30,000 non-empty wallets since 16 October, putting the total near 59.95 million; it said retail-holder exits could precede a local bottom. The firm highlighted $80,000 as a key level and a move above roughly $82,500 as stronger confirmation. A CryptoQuant analyst identified the Trader Realized Price in the mid-$70,000 range as possible support, but not a guaranteed floor.
Technical indicators in the later update also point to uncertainty. Bitcoin is near its 50-day moving average, with an RSI around 50 and the MACD above its signal line, although sellers still appear to control the trend. Traders are watching support around $76,000 and resistance from $85,000 to $87,000; a daily close below $76,000 could open a path toward $65,000, while a convincing break above resistance would strengthen the bullish case. Hoskinson’s AI-driven Bitcoin forecast is a long-term thesis, and price action has yet to confirm it.
Democrats are projected to take control of both chambers of the US Congress in January 2027, a shift that could make US crypto regulation less predictable and delay the CLARITY Act, a digital asset market-structure bill. The later report says Democrats have secured the majorities, giving them control of the legislative agenda and key committee chairmanships. However, Senate filibuster rules and the president’s veto power may constrain major policy changes.
Influential critics such as Elizabeth Warren, Sherrod Brown and Maxine Waters may lead committees and scrutinize World Liberty Financial, the Trump family’s crypto business, as well as past SEC enforcement decisions. Some moderate and pro-crypto Democrats may support clearer rules, but could demand stronger consumer protections and conflict-of-interest restrictions for public officials, potentially drawing White House opposition and slowing the CLARITY Act. Republicans are expected to defend the GENIUS Act, the stablecoin law, and resist tighter oversight. The later report also sees little chance of a federal central bank digital currency ban passing.
For traders, the shift does not mean an immediate change to existing rules. Instead, US crypto regulation may face a slower, less predictable path, with investigations, regulatory appointments, GENIUS Act implementation and CLARITY Act negotiations likely to shape sentiment and policy-related volatility.

Canton Strategic Holdings (Nasdaq: CNTN) says its issuer-sponsored tokenized shares completed their first trades on the Canton Network under the SEC’s five-year Innovation Exemption, announced on September 17, 2026. Five North sold shares to DRW Cumberland, with Flowdesk providing liquidity through a permissioned pool operated by TSV LLC and powered by Tradecraft. An earlier report put the transaction at about 14,461 shares, worth roughly $30,296, or $2.08 per share; the company’s later account did not disclose the volume or value.
The trades settled atomically. SEC-registered transfer agent Fairmint verifies investors and maintains the official ownership register. The tokenized shares retain the applicable voting and distribution rights of traditional CNTN stock. The SEC framework permits limited trading subject to investor protections, volume caps, access controls and trading halts when the underlying stock is halted.
The Canton Network launch is an infrastructure and regulatory milestone for tokenized U.S. equities, but the restricted venue and small reported transaction do not establish broad adoption or a major liquidity event. Canton Coin (CC) was near $0.10 on November 5, up about 4% over 24 hours but down roughly 21.7% over the previous month. The stock trade itself offers no clear direct catalyst for CC.
Bitget has opened VIP subscriptions for its third Anthropic IPO Prime offering. Eligible VIP1–VIP7 users can subscribe with USDT or USDGO from 5 November at 16:00 to 9 November at 16:00 (UTC+8), with contributions ranging from US$100 to US$3 million and a total pool cap of US$1 billion. Bitget cites a historical reference allocation rate of 40%–80% and a 12% underwriting service fee. Allocations will be delivered as rANT; Bitget says its real-world asset (RWA) infrastructure is designed to make rANT mirror ANT’s economic performance on a 1:1 basis. Distribution is expected three to five business days after the IPO, while a public subscription round is scheduled to open on 10 November at 16:00 (UTC+8). The Anthropic IPO Prime offering is a platform-specific investment opportunity, not a reported new crypto listing or broader market catalyst.
Binance will settle a dividend adjustment on its SAMSUNGUSDT perpetual contract from 14:00 Beijing time on 6 November 2026. The adjustment is 1,001 South Korean won per share, equivalent to approximately -0.037336%, and settlement is expected to take about 30 minutes.
The Binance SAMSUNGUSDT adjustment applies to users who held a net position at the ex-dividend time of 07:00 Beijing time on 29 September. Eligible traders can check the amount under “Special Funding Fee” in their trading history. The amount will be credited to or deducted from their USDⓈ-M Futures cross-margin account. Binance says the funding-rate interval will remain unchanged during settlement and the contract will not enter reduce-only mode in advance. Traders should account for the adjustment when managing positions and margin.
CertiK Alert reported that a vulnerability in TENDRIL’s Sell Hook caused an estimated net loss of about $555,000. The mechanism let a seller deduct tokens from a trading pair’s balance and update its reserves before the remaining sell input arrived. The delayed input then withdrew nearly all the pool’s USDT. No additional developments are reported in the available summaries. The TENDRIL exploit highlights smart-contract and liquidity risks that could weigh on trader confidence in the token.
MEXC updated Futures Earn on November 3, adding an earnings calculator, reward diagrams and in-product guidance. The tools are intended to help users understand potential interest and reward rules, but do not guarantee advertised returns.
MEXC Futures Earn applies to eligible USDT- and USDE-margined contracts. The exchange lists a 5% base APR for eligible USDT-margined pairs, with up to 15% in additional rewards, and a 4.75% base APR for USDE-margined pairs. Eligible balances start at 100 USDT; interest accrues hourly and is settled daily. MEXC says there is no fixed end date or minimum trading-volume requirement for the base rate.
Actual rates and interest-bearing balance caps may vary by account and can change. Wallet balance determines the interest-bearing principal, while futures position value may determine bonus tiers. Balances above applicable caps may not earn the base rate, and deposits made shortly before a calculation may receive less than a full period of interest. The calculator estimates interest, not net trading profit. Taking on leveraged futures positions to qualify for rewards can add fees, funding costs and liquidation risk. Traders should check their personalized terms and settlement records before treating rewards as income.
Bithumb will list MAGMA on its Korean won (KRW) market, giving the token greater access to South Korean traders. The exchange has not announced when MAGMA trading will open, and details such as trading pairs and deposit arrangements remain unconfirmed. The listing may boost MAGMA’s visibility and liquidity, but its price impact is uncertain; traders should follow Bithumb’s official updates.
Oil prices fell after Democrats won control of both chambers of Congress, as traders considered the possibility of less aggressive US policy towards Iran and a lower geopolitical risk premium. In the initial reaction, Brent crude and WTI each dropped about 3%, to roughly $100–$102 and $93–$95 a barrel. In the later update, oil prices had fallen more than 8% in the latest session and 19% over five days, with Brent near $94 and WTI around $87–$88. Prediction markets put the odds of crude reaching an all-time high by year-end at about 8%; an earlier market estimate was 8.5% in the text and 9.5% in a table. A sustained oil price decline could ease inflation concerns and support broader risk appetite, but the implications for crypto remain indirect. Traders will watch US policy on Iran, Middle East developments and global supply conditions.
Meme coin trading remained volatile across Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain, but the reported 24-hour figures changed sharply between the two updates. The earlier snapshot put Solana turnover at $96.484 million, Base at $80.128 million, BNB Chain at $34.262 million and Robinhood Chain at $27.364 million. Activity was concentrated in a few tokens, including ZEC on Solana, AXIS on Base, BNCB on BNB Chain and PONS on Robinhood Chain; YMB and Charity Dog posted outsized reported gains.
The later update showed a different activity mix: Robinhood Chain led with $150 million in Top 10 turnover, driven by TTWO at $120 million. Solana recorded $50.966 million, BNB Chain $25.186 million and Base $5.837 million. The later report also cited extreme price moves, including Solana’s ABTC rising 22,483.8% and AMD falling 56.2%, alongside sharp gains in LEEROY, HIGH, UMplan and BOOTR. The differences suggest rapidly changing activity or reporting snapshots, not a broad market trend. Meme coin turnover and prices can shift quickly; traders should verify liquidity and data, and account for the risk of abrupt reversals.
South Korean crypto exchange Upbit will list CARDS in its Korean won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC) and Tether (USDT) markets, with trading scheduled to begin at 16:30 local time on November 5. CARDS is associated with Collector Crypt, a Solana-based marketplace connecting physical collectibles, including trading cards, with NFTs. The three trading pairs could improve CARDS’ visibility and give traders more ways to access the token, although Upbit’s announcement did not provide details on the project, liquidity or the listing’s expected market impact.
The reported Fortuneo bank hack in France may have caused losses exceeding $133 million, according to blockchain investigator ZachXBT. Attackers reportedly exploited Fortuneo transfer controls and used forged identities or credentials to send funds to accounts at Kraken and Crypto.com. The bank’s parent company has not confirmed the details, and investigators are examining whether the incident involved forged executive credentials, a control weakness or social engineering.
Bitquery and ZachXBT traced withdrawals from the exchanges beginning on 1 November. About $63 million in USDC and USDT was reportedly swapped for 27,553 ETH on Uniswap between 1 and 2 November. Some funds were then routed through instant-exchange and cross-chain services, with some reportedly converted into Monero. The final loss could be higher if money moved through over-the-counter or other off-chain channels.
The Fortuneo bank hack highlights risks around bank transfer controls, exchange identity checks and crypto off-ramps. The reported activity could prompt further scrutiny of security and anti-money-laundering controls, but there is no indication of broader disruption to crypto markets or a direct price impact on ETH.

FOMO perpetual futures reached a record single-day trading volume of $414.9 million, crypto analyst Adam reported on 5 November. Perpetual futures also generated 43% of FOMO’s total revenue that day. The figures point to strong activity in FOMO’s derivatives business, but neither report provides data on open interest or user growth, or evidence that the volume will persist. Traders should treat the record as a sign of activity rather than confirmation of a lasting trend.
A total of 245 candidates identified as supportive of cryptocurrency won seats in the US Congress, according to Stand With Crypto election-tracking data cited by GSR executive Frank Chaparro. The group includes 226 members-elect of the House of Representatives and 19 members-elect of the Senate. The count points to a sizable bloc of crypto-supporting lawmakers and could shape debate on US crypto regulation and digital-asset legislation. However, the tally alone does not show how lawmakers will vote on specific bills, so its implications for crypto markets remain uncertain.
